I started researching our children's family history in Oct 2012, discovering FindAGrave within a few weeks. It has been so helpful in my own research that it seems appropriate to give something back. My goal is to return the favor 10 for 1; i.e. by a combination of creating memorials and uploading photos to achieve ten times the number of memorials I have referenced in my genealogy work.After both good and not so good encounters with other contributors, I decided to treat the FAG guidelines for transfers as just that, guidelines. I will transfer memorials upon request without regard to whether the individual making the request is related to the person memorialized. There is one exception: For now, I would like to remain the custodian for those memorials of relatives of either my wife or me.

Photos uploaded + memorials created = 3994
