Bio

Hello All,

I am a native of Florida but grew up in Texas. I joined the army at age 17, went to the Gulf War in Iraq in 1991, was stationed at Fort Hood Texas for 3 years. In 1992 I went to Germany for 4 years and also wound up going to Bosnia in 1994.

My birth name is Cromwell and I am a direct descendant of Oliver Cromwell's (The Lord Protector) uncle Sir Oliver Cromwell. My descendants came to America from England in 1667 after the Lord Protector Oliver Cromwell died in 1659. The Cromwell's fought in the Revolutionary War against England under General Gist who was in direct contact with George Washington during the war. They also served in the War of 1812 and repelled the British forces once again. I have been tracing my family history throughout Wales in the 1200s, to England and then on to America throughout the first colonies of Maryland, Massachusetts and Main where they resided until 1890 when my Great Grandfather moved to Alabama after the Civil War and married his 14 year old bride, He was 52.

I take photo request from any cemetery around Orange and Brevard counties in Florida. I enjoy find a grave and also enjoy connecting the history of those that have passed on.

I strongly encourage family members to take over the memorials that I have created for there loved ones because you know them better than I do and can provide more valuable information on there lives and who they were. All you have to do is ask me to transfer ownership.
