My wife is Dolly Moen, her maiden name is Spencer. Her parents are Dean Spencer and Lorraine Ramaska Spencer. She attended Rio Lindo Academy in Healdsburg, California, graduating in 1981. She attended Pacific Union College, graduating in 1983. She has two brothers, Mark Spencer and Michael Spencer.

My parents are Thomas P. Moen, Sr. and VerDel Morphis Moen. My Stepmother is Dorothy Marie Heuer Gihring Moen. I have a brother, Mark Moen a sister, Bernice Barrentine, a stepsister, Susan Gihring, two stepbrothers, Steven Gihring and Mark Gihring. I have a sister who preceded me, Evelyn Parker.

My grandparents are Joseph Morphis, Bessie Godfrey Morphis and Rose Morphis on my mother's side. And are Melvin A. Moen and Julia Myran Moen on my father's side.

My mother has two brothers, who are twins. Richard Morphis and James Morphis. My father has two brothers and a sister. Clarence Moen, Bennet Moen and Marie Todahl.

I was raised in Spokane, Washington and Idaho Falls, Idaho. I moved to Desert Hot Springs, California when I was 20 years old, and have been here ever since.

During High School I attended Spokane Junior Academy for my Freshman and Sophmore years, 1973-1975. I attended North Central High School for my Junior and Senior years, 1975-1977. I have many friends that attended Upper Columbia Academy during those years.

I attended one year at Eastern Washington University, and finished my Associate Degree in Marketing at Eastern Idaho Technical College.

In my 34 years in Desert Hot Springs I have had the privilege to serve on several boards and commissions. I sincerely hope that I've made a contribution to my town.
