Bio

Klein/Regner on my fathers Side who is a 1st generation American who's parents came from Germany and Austria/Hungary. They met and married in Bancroft Iowa where a lot of my extended family still lives today but my immediate family moved to Twin Falls Idaho annd later Flora Oregon where my dad was born and raised.
Van Amburgh/Decker/Gale/Van Tassel/Rapalje/DeVigne/ DeTrieux and more on my mother's side. Her family was in America in the pre revolution days in Dutch, Pilgrim (English Irish Scottish), &includes several Mayflower passengers, the New Palz Huguenot community as well as one line that includes Native American ancestry and all her lines were here in America prior to 1830.
My parents met and married in NYC during WWII while my father was serving in the US Navy. After the war they moved first to Boise Idaho where many of my dad's siblings were living, then to Walla Walla, Washington when my dad got a job with the US Army Corps of Engineers which is where I was born and raised. I spent much of my adult life living in the Portland Vancouver area of the Pacific Northwest where I had a career in wholesale food distribution in inventory control and purchasing for several different companies over about 20 years but now I am both retired on disability and married to my 2nd husband and am living in Akron, Ohio with him.
