Bio

Son of Cotton/McGrath.
I started looking for my mother's ancestors around 2012: McGrath, Mangan, Joy.
Then I hit a lot of brick walls and started looking on my father's side: Cotton and a lot more brick walls.
Then I decided to start looking for my husbands family. Wow! Now there's a lot of history there! Bostwick, Calkins, Avery, Allyn, Matlack, Smedley, the list of colonial Americans, revolutionary heros and Palatine Germans is amazing! It's funny, sometimes it's harder to find the 1st g-grandparents than the 10th!
