Paternal greats...
Samuel McAdams & Mary Ellen Hite
Anne Myrtilla Cramer & Elmer Elmsworth Keller
Became interested in preserving my past/family tree last year for my 6 grandchildren. And can I go on record to say, I hate stumbling blocks. Mine is Samuel McAdams born around 1805 in Scotland.
I live in the tidewater area of Virginia which is rich in history and come from a small town in Pa.
I feel that if we do not look into our pasts, and do all we can to leave a written journal/tree for future generations, so much of who we are and where we came from will be lost. Think of your great grandchildren or even gg grandchildren looking for info on the family. If we are having trouble now finding past info, what else we be lost in the years to come.
If I can help others gain information about family, etc. by taking some walks through cemeteries, it is worth it.
