I figured out what you're talking about so I deleted the duplicate of John B. Ledford. Thank you for letting me know.

Have a great day.

Hello, I am not sure which Mr. Ledford you;re talking about. I tried to find that grave number but it's not allowing me to pull it up without a direct URL link to be able to make changes. If you can send me a url link I'd be happy to make changes.

Don't know the reason Linda. I did not add those names or dates or manage them, but needs further research I have seen dates 1845 and 1848 posted.

Thanks Linda.
Frank Woodrow Hooper was the father of Donald Frank Hooper. TN (not JN) and Frank Woodrow were also my brother in laws and Jepthia was TN and Frank's dad. Donald was my nephew.

A gravestone for this Henry Amos ("Sr.") is unknown. He was probably buried on his home farm.

Everything entered in the memorial except names of two of Henry's sons is either wrong or completely unknown.

Elizabeth Dorcas Hall is an invented person. The persons asserted for a Dorcas Hall's parents did not have any such child.

There is no evidence that Henry's parents were a James or Mahetible/Maketible, or that such persons lived in or were buried anywhere in Marion County.

There is no evidence yet found as to identity of any wife of Henry before his 1807 marriage. No evidence has been found concerning identity of a mother of any of his children. Son George's death record, the data from one of George's sons, states George's mother's first name was Elizabeth. But considering that Henry married two known Elizabeths (in 1807 and 1829) who could not be a mother to any of Henry's children, this is doubtful. Maybe George's son thought of Elizabeth Miller or Elizabeth [--?--] Stillwell as his grandmother -- who knows? I do not know.

I also do not know who Elizabeth Miller (1807 wife) was -- whether she was a widow or what.

Henry's first land purchase was 1790Sep13 in present Marion Co. WV: 200 acres on Indian Ck from William Roark (Monongalia County Deeds Old Series 1:173). This is the first known record of him.
