My father is heavily Slovak, his grandparents all hail from the former Spis and Saris counties of Slovakia. My mother's side is very genealogically eclectic. One line of her family traces back to the Palatine Germans that immigrated to America in the early 1700s. That line provided grounds for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution. In my spare time, I binge read political thrillers, chicklit and the greats of literature. I also am a driven equestrian; training and competing primarily in dressage and dabbling in jumping, occasionally.
