I have been researching my mother's family since 2012 and have been using find a grave since Oct of that same year. It was suggested by a volunteer in a cemetery where we stopped one Sat. Since then the search has expanded to include more family sides. Those family names are: Sleek/Hall/Lock/Pfaff/DeWitt. My father's side is: Karnes/Musser/Ebinger/Messner/Gurtner/Foutz.
On my husband's side, the names are: Wilhelm/Bard/Miser/Wise/Benjamin/Partee/Thompson.
