Genealogy without documentation is hearsay.

Family histories, stories, and ancestry family trees are useful guides when starting research but, they need to be supported with documentation. Only the lazy researcher takes someone else's word for the truth. What a shame it is that so many people are misled by undocumented family trees. They will never know who their true ancestors are and are spending their lives honoring unrelated strangers.

My research focus is concentrated on families living in 18th century Lancaster County, PA. Of primary interest to me are the surnames Myers and Landis.
