I was born in 1934 in Houston, Texas, to a T&NO railroad family. My parents are buried in Houston's Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery: Myrtle Alexander (1909-1998) and James Daniel Baker (1899-1962).

Grandparent Surnames Baker, McConaughey, Alexander and Goodman independently arrived in Texas about 1880.

I have been sorting through and recording family collections and stories most of my life, expanded by hours in Clayton and other Houston and Texas libraries and archives. Exploiting computers and the web as they developed, to meet cousins online and grow the family epic.
