I was the first baby born in Lankford Clinic,Stephenville, Texas on October 20, 1939. My parents Howard and Irene worked in the peanut mill in Stephenville . They earned .35 cents an hour, stated many times they were happy to get a job. I stayed with Henry and Sue Wehrmann for 15 years in the boarding house they owned in Stephenville and Ft Worth while my parents worked. Graduatied from Paschal High in 1957. Attended Tarleton State College. Married Billy Frank Parnell in 1959. We lived in Alvarado, Texas for 25 years. Two sons Rick and Tim Parnell.
Worked in public service and municipal government areas 50 years. Retired in 2009 in Fort Worth.I recently joined FAG to locate my families and friends. To those before me you have been avid contributors which I hope to continue in a small way.
