Bio

I grew up in Freeport, Stearns, Minnesota and attended Sacred Heart school and church.
I have been doing genealogy on and off for over 25 years now.
Beuning in German church records was Bäuning and also Bohning. Two of my great grandfather's brothers changed their names to Benning.
Herman Benning of Cincinnati and Henry Benning of Liverpool, England.
Beuning and Bäuning are both pronounced "Boy-ning".

Other families I research are Bergheh, Pieper, Klein, Michael, Wahls, Berscheid/Berscheit, Pluth, Ostendorf, Woeste, Deters, Schmiesing, Marbach, Peschel, Beste, Dünnebacke, Westbreck/Westbrock, Boecker, and Stoerman.

If there is a record I have entered and you have a stronger relation to that person than me I will transfer to you. Just ask. If I enter someone that is not related to me I will always transfer upon request.
