If you don't know where you came from, then you can not know where you are going.

I don't know who said that, but it makes a lot of sense. We must never forget those who came first and have gone on, as there is a part of each of them in us.

We should ask the older ones about the ones before themselves, as they may remember tidbits of family history that most family members didn't know, or have forgotten. Never miss a chance to talk family with the older ones, as you never know what you may learn. And, as the old saying goes, Don't be afraid to ask questions.

I am researching Jones, Landers, Traylor, Lovvorn, Smith, Hudgins, McKee, Kyle, Childers, Chambers, Puckett, Oden and others.
I have found that I am related to most everyone buried at Lawrence Cove Independent Baptist Church, Eva, Morgan County, Alabama.
