Thankfully, the arrival of digital photography has made that task much easier. I only wish that option had been available 20 years ago when I was transcribing grave sites. Many of those stones have since been damaged or now missing.

If you post a photo on a website such as ancestry.com, I only request that you credit me with the photo. The main reason I ask this is because I have much higher quality, unedited originals of most of the photos I have posted. I am glad to share these photos, but due to their size, I don't usually post them on here.
