Bio

I was born in Milwaukee, WI, with solid German ancestry on both sides. I am trying to make memorials and get headstone photos of as many family members as I can. I am happy to reciprocate by taking grave photos in the Peoria IL area. I maintain two public trees on Ancestry.com - The Ziege Family Tree includes my Ziege/Zuege, Bloedel, Marks, Kranz, Brose, Zanto, Radetsky, Woller, Vollbrecht, Hambach, Franck, Fehling, and Strothenke ancestors. The Bartelt Family Tree has my husband's ancestors, including the names Bartelt, Liebscher, Koehler, Fuchs, Tischer, Zarling, Ehlert, Doering, Ehmke, Gossler, Zeugner, and Burrmeister. Always happy to hear from long lost relatives! I am also interested in photographing headstones of war veterans and German and other immigrants, especially if the headstones are not in English. Any headstone photos that I take may be used for any noncommercial purposes. I'd appreciate a citation, but I'm not going to check!
