The name "Eagle" has always held a curiosity for me since I married into the family over 40 years ago. I wanted to know its origins and discovered that Johann Heinrich Eckel was the man who began the American legacy. Thus began my search for the origins of the Eagle Family Tree.

My main interest is in the Miamisburg Eagles and the Lancaster, PA/Montgomery County, Ohio Myers. But living in upstate New York is quite a disadvantage, so I depend mostly on FAG contributors for help. Because of these truly fascinating volunteers I am willing to give back and share what information I have.
