I have been working on family genealogy for about 10 years. I have found Find A Grave to be a huge help to me in locating the resting places of my ancestors and those of my husband's family. With the changes in our society, such as family mobility, desires to be cremated instead of buried, and for cremains to be scattered, I truly feel the need to document for generations to come where our people have been born, raised, and died. Hopefully, future generations will determine a way to do the same for us.

At this time, I am only working on family members only. If I happen to create a memorial for someone who is of closer relation than I am, I would be happy to transfer the memorial.
