I started researching my family about 3 years ago. Then while cleaning out an old barn I found a trunk of old books. One of these books was a voter registration list for 1895. I thought it needed to be preserved so I took it to the Genealogical Library for advise. I had never been in a genealogical library before that day all my research had been done online. I'm now an active volunteer at the Coweta County Genealogical Society and loving every minute. My family names are: Newman, Faver, Davis, Stephens, Arnold, Goolsby, and Easton, of GA. Smith, Wall, and Killingsworth, of Texas.
