When I retired in 2013, I decided to continue the family research my folks started. My father's family, descended from Joseph and Cynthia Ann (Harris) Beavers, is quite extensive having come to Kansas in 1855. I also volunteer at Geary County Historical Society Museum as a researcher and serve on the Board of Directors. I have done a few memorials on Find A Grave, as a result of my research.
