I have photographed and created thousands of memorials by personally walking rows of graves in cemeteries throughout Marshal County and surrounding areas in Indiana, plus a few from Minnesota and Wisconsin. This took several years to say the least. Feel free to request any transfers, I would like to see someone care for them once I am eligible for my own memorial. My armchair activities include searching Ancestry death certificates for local cemeteries to find unmarked graves. I also find graves with missing stones in the archives of Marshall County Historical Society (Indiana).
I also am interested in preserving and honoring our Civil War veterans. I have been researching common veteran names like Smith and Jones to leave some hints for possible descendants.
