I have resided in Chester County, Pa most of my life and presently live in Kennett Square. I have worked on my family's genealogy since I was a teen. Since I also enjoy photography, I have decided to combine my interests into becoming a Find A Grave volunteer.
I am most familiar with New Garden Friends, Unionville, Union Hill, and London Grove Friends Cemeteries. If you request a photo of someone at the Kennett Friends whose dates are prior 1800, it will probably not be found as most stones are unreadable. I am also very familiar with Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery as most of my ancestors are located there. Also, since I grew up in West Chester, I am very familiar with the family names.
I usually take and post multiple photos of a stone and will often include surrounding family stones. I will also note the GPS location of the stone and when possible the plot number. I will also try to honor any special requests. (ie. close-up of military markers.)
