I am a retired French Immersion History teacher and my hobby is genealogy. My extended family has grown and spread from early beginnings in Leeds and Grenville Counties, Lanark County and Huron County of Ontario and Pontiac County of Quebec to almost all parts of Canada and many parts of the US. I think that "Find A Grave" is a wonderful way to link family members wherever they may roam and settle. I try to link into other families in the same areas.
My focus families are: Carson, Alder, Scott, Sherwood, Knapp of Grenville County (and those families they married into); Landon and Gray of Leeds County; Dunfield, Lowe of Lanark; McKillop of Pontiac; Cooper and Glazier of Huron. The Preston part of my family came to Toronto and then Chicago and then Saskatchewan.
