I retired in 2015 after more than 31 years at Minnesota State University, Mankato. I raised three sons alone after a divorce. I lived only three blocks from my parents, so I had a lot of family time. My father died of cancer in 1999 and then in 2011 we discovered our mother had alzheimers disease. I spent the last four years helping her until her death this past July 20, 2016. It's hard putting pictures together when she not around to help with names. My youngest son is interested in traveling to Germany to find old history. Who knows I might tag along.
