Bio

Now that I am retired I have developed an interest in researching my ancestry; not for any particular reason other than curiosity and hopefully enjoyment. So far it has been fun. My family was not close so getting information is a bit challenging.

I signed up to take photos of grave stones and my wife and I have enjoyed this activity. It's good exercise walking the cemeteries and it is rewarding to help people with their photo requests. Although I started our ancestry work, my wife has gotten into it far more than I. She has researched her side of our family more deeply than I have done my side. She also enjoys creating memorials and has created over 3,000 as of August 2014.

In short we have found a fun and rewarding (on many levels) avocation that I think we will carry on for many years.
