Genealogy! In the end, it's all relative!

Genealogy is all about chasing your own tale.

Genealogy is like a magic mirror. Look into it and pretty soon interesting faces appear.

RE: Land photo
You’re welcome. I think I’m the only active volunteer currently taking pictures at Spring Grove. My goal was to get the requests down to zero. It totaled over 1000 in late spring. Some of the photo requests, possibly yours, were listed over 3 years ago. It would be much easier if I didn’t live in Indiana. I’m glad that I could help you……Tom

RE: Dennis Robey
I have a slew of relatives named Roby or Robey but Dennis isn't among them. If having his memorial will help you in your search let me know and I'll transfer it to you.

RE: Clauson
I just uploaded grave photos for 16 members of the Claussen family. Which one do you mean?

Gligor, Anna and Sandra Muica memorials
I have transferred these memorials to you as you requested--I am not related and have not been able to locate any information on Gligor's wife.
Take care!

Alexander Hamilton Dill Correction?
Hello, received your edit request for Alexander Hamilton Dill #158752811. You have asked to assign links to his parents. How did you conclude this is the correct identity?

RE: Dill
Oh yeah some of us are not "hoarders" with high numbers :),we are cataloging our local areas. Then when others search they can find we give them away. This allows others to find where these people ended up when the normal census trails go cold or find out about the kids that were born and died in between the census years. I have tried linking people up that were not my family and you seem to get lots of people making comments about how you did it wrong. :(

I try to put what i can find about the people. I also try get rid of as many as possible.

With your ancestor I tried to photo graph the ~660 Rev War vets buried in out of the way places before the stones return to the earth. With some other people we got about ~550 documented. Many of these are forgotten and uncared for. The cemetery where your ancestor is, only bits of stones survive. I was 100 years too late to get a photo for you. I think i found part of one Rev War vet stone in that cemetery.

No problem. I see you had some edits in. I wish Findagrave would notify you when you had edits to process.
