after 13 years and other people making changes to their pages here and on familysearch, i have stopped doing any research on my tree. do i really need to know what my 3 cousin did in 1803?
so, i now pick a cemetery in kansas, only kansas, any county, and
go thru the listing here on findagrave. then i got to a newspaper web site, look for that person for anything that might give a cause of death or an obituary, in the hope that it will include other family names, etc. many do, many do not. i will clip it out of the newspaper and post it here and if possible, also to familysearch. sometimes i miss doing it on familysearch.
i save nothing about any of these people. i can not go back
and find anything on anyone i have posted an obit or other bit
of info about. i do it to help you find things. the ladies are often
the most difficult to follow as husbands die and they remarry.
an obit might have that 3rd. husband's name so you can search
for that version of the lady. maybe something on line may let
you find something about husband one or two.
well, other than what i posted, i really can not help with anything
else on a person. sorry!
