Bio

I've been involved in genealogy research for over 40 years. During that time I've spent a lot of time taking with relatives and friends on the telephone, studying records in courthouses and visiting cemeteries.

Here I am, more than a few years ago, in the Moses Cemetery in Pleasant View, Whitley Co., Kentucky. The headstone in this photograph is that of my 4G-grandfather, Joshua Moses Sr. (1748-1836).

My family lines are Stephens, King, Wilson, Moses, Spradlin, Cordell and Blevins. I have many relatives living in Boyle Co., KY, McCreary Co., KY, Whitley Co., KY and Scott Co., TN.

Find a Grave sure makes genealogy research much easier. It is definitely a tremendous help to all of us older folk who still have the "genealogy bug" but are just not able to get out and about as much as we once did.

July 17, 2015...Due to my failing eyesight I have decided to transfer all of the memorials I maintain to my cousin, Wayne King. He loves genealogy as much as I do and has promised to take good care of them for me. We've spent many wonderful hours together talking about our ancestors and looking at pictures.

To all you genealogists out there, "Keep up the good work!"
