Bio

I am interested in God, family, historical preservation, genealogy, books, and being happy while I am on this big rock.

I was born in Indiana, PA and search for links to grandparent family names Barclay, Bush, Ontko, and Ribar. I also search for links to my husband's family name Radowenchuk...not much luck with this one!

I do not verify edit requests so please be sure you are requesting accurate changes for the correct person. Some folks have a whole page full of rules for you to follow, I do not. But, as a common courtesy, if you add a gravestone photo, please make sure it's nicer than the one already there.

It saddens me to see so many cemeteries requiring flat markers as I can already see them disappearing beneath the earth.

We are the chosen. In each family there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but, instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the story tellers of the tribe. All tribes have one. We have been called as it were by our genes. ~ Unknown

You may use my photos without my permission on other genealogy sites or for your own family records. I consider them public records as you could get them yourself if you were in the right location. They are not to be used for profit of any sort. As an aside, I find it fascinating that folks will add another picture of the stone, not because it is a better photo, just to increase their number of photos taken. Weird. Just stop.

"I sent that "Ancestry" site some information on my Family Tree. They sent me back a pack of Seeds and suggested that I just Start Over." courtesy of I'm Not Right In The Head.com.

Please, people, be nice and try to have a sense of humor. This is not brain surgery that we are doing.
