I recently lost my mother (June, 2013). She was the closest person, friend or relative, that I have ever lost. Other members of my family have passed, of course, but when you lose a parent, that touches you deeply. I am originally from the Twin Cities, and visit there frequently as I still have many relatives, including my father and two brothers, who live there. My immediate family has lived in Omaha for the past 22 years. I discovered Find A Grave when doing a simple name search on my mother's name and decided to register as a photo volunteer.
