Please know that my choice to disable messages was a personal one due to either the multiple spam/junk messages or the multiple horrifically hateful messages I was receiving. Furthermore, when you send a message via a memorial, I receive an automatic email notifying me of the message, whereas no such notification is sent when a message is left on a contributor’s profile page.

I truly love this site. I have benefited so much from the work of others on my own family line, and I am striving to provide the same helpful connections. That is why I personally walk cemeteries, surveying and photographing graves that may have never been recorded previously. I don’t just stop there. Those who know me well on the site, know that for every memorial I add, I do my best to thoroughly research that individual, so as to link them to their family, which often means digging through various records and obituaries, always posting what I can find. This is very time consuming, and I do so freely and lovingly.

Please, please do not take it personally that you cannot message me via my profile page here. I have no intention of harming or offending you. I am just trying to redirect all messages to the appropriate memorial. This better helps all of us, while allowing me to keep the love I have for the work I do here. Please submit all updates for an individual's birth/death date(s), place(s), and/or parental/spousal link(s) through the corresponding link via the "Edit" tab located on the top right of that individual's memorial page. This allows me to process edits much more quickly for you. :)

I am happy to transfer any memorial of an individual to whom I am NOT related. When requesting a transfer, please send me a message using the "Edit" tab on that individual's memorial.
