I was born in Elmira, Chemung County, New York and started on my family history in the late 1990s . I became more interested when I retired in 2006. The names I am researching are: Houghtaling, Graner, Kilpatrick, Packard, and Wilcox (and associated families), all mainly in and around the Tri-State area of NY and PA, some in Massachusetts and Maine.

I maintain my family memorials and some for others who cannot do so. I research them pretty carefully before entering them into my Ancestry tree and/or on Find a Grave. Occasionally I will send out edits for those memorial sites on Find a Grave that are not maintained by me.

I attended Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in northeast Georgia and will occasionally create a memorial for an alumni friend. I will gladly transfer to a family member if requested.
