I live in Woodford, New South Wales, Australia.
I was born in Redhill, London, England and moved to Australia in 1949 at the age of 7 years with my parents.
I am a retired Scientific Glassblower and worked at various places during my career. The two most important was a private firm - H.B.Selbys P/L (6 years) and University of Technology, Sydney (32 years) where I was the OIC of the Scientific and Experimental Glassblowing Department until my retirement in 1999. I also worked in collaboration with one of Australia's premium Glass Artists Giselle Courtney for many years. I also taught bench techniques at the Sydney College of Arts/Glass Arts Department.
I still consult in both Technical and Artistic fields.
