The Okfuskee County History Center is operated by the Okfuskee County Historical Society, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Okfuskee County, Oklahoma and the surrounding area. The History Center is operated by a handful of dedicated volunteers and is funded solely by donations. In addition to visiting local cemeteries and photographing headstones, the Genealogy Department is in the process of creating county-wide files and obituary records of burials throughout Okfuskee County
