RE: Pearla Williams Nelson
Great information! You should put all of that in her bio or notes section. Thanks for letting me know.

RE: James R Howard
Actually, I found James H Howard, Company A "Carroll Fencibles" 42nd Mississippi Infantry Regiment, men mostly from Carroll County. He is in the same company as two of his brothers - Caswell and Joseph. So I am using the middle initial "H" unless I find something different. Thanks. Let me know if you find anything and I will do the same.

RE: James R Howard
Tamatha, I have his name only as James Howard. He was supposedly killed in the Civil War. I have not yet found any records of him in the war.

Howards
there was a Dr Howard in Winona,,Ms,, if fact he delivered me in the Winona Infirmary in 1947, he had an office very near the old Court House that is down town, I forget the streets,, it was in an old house,, The James Howard Rose, you saw was my first cousin,, and older than me,, my Uncle Jewel Rose's oldest son... I really don't know any more Howards in Montgomery county.. I live in Eupora..and was raised in Duck Hill, Eskridge area of Montgomery County..

RE: Howard's
Tamatha, the Titus Howard line is not related to my Howard line as far as I have ever been able to discover. I think I have some info somewhere that someone sent me pre computer days that I might can find if you are interested. Please email me (portia423@yahoo.com) if you want me to locate it. It is my understanding that Howard Street in downtown Greenwood, Mississippi was named for James Howard, son of Titus.

Pleasure to meet you too.
Do you have the "Biography of William Wilkins 1785-1922". I refer to it a lot when working on the Wilkins genealogy.
