I am the adopted daughter of David Evan Williams (1929-1998) and Elizabeth Elinor Thomas (1927-2015) I am actively researching the history of my family. My birth family are the Dorans of Port Alberni, BC, Canada and the Vallee and Gaudreault families originating in Normandy, France. My birth mom's paternal lineage are the Myers of Pullman WA., and earlier the Sell and Bierly families of Pennsylvania. On my grandfather's maternal side it is Mary McGuire my great grandmother from Ennis, County Clare, Ireland

My birth father's lineage. He is descended from the McAuley family of the Isle of Lewis Scotland and the Lavallee family of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He was descended from Metis people from both his parents.

I have also had the good fortune of marrying into the Simpson and Wain pioneering families near Victoria BC
