Transfers: per FG -
~ determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. You can add photos and suggest corrections without managing a memorial.
~ transfer requests will ONLY be made within the Findagrave guidelines (child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great-niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great-aunt/uncle, or first cousin. This would include adoptive, step and in-law versions of these relationships.)
Please request transfers via the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "Edit" tab on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial transferred to you - please include your relationship.
I deal with these about once a week - don't keep sending messages, it will get done if the request falls within FG guidelines.

I am a casual FindAGrave member. I don't hog memorials, nor do I collect memorials to get my numbers up. I DO assume responsibility for memorials so they can be updated and researched.

Please don't ask me to add long flowery stories or cause of death. Both are inappropriate. Use the edit function to put information in the correct fields.
I won't link to 'burial unknown', or duplicates.
I put no stipulation on how my photos are used. If it is your family, feel free to use however you like.

Sad that I have to say this, but rudeness and name-calling will be neither acknowledged nor responded to (but it will be reported). This is why my email isn't visible. Please use the edit function on the memorials.
And, don't expect others to follow your own personal 'rules', they are non-binding.
