Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired and enjoy searching family histories. I live in Berrien County Michigan and am willing to search Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties for desired cemetery photos. In special circumstances and good weather I might consider a wider area.

PLEASE: Do not post photos of historical records to memorials. This especially INCLUDES DEATH CERTIFICATES AND CENSUS RECORDS! While I do not object to a brief news clipping, the photo option is intended for photos of the deceased and of the gravestone. There are only 5 FREE photos allowed per memorial. Additional info can be shared thru the edit buttons.

NOTE: I grant my permission for the use of any grave stone photos I take. If my photo disappoints, I will remove if requested through suggested edits button.

If you submit an obituary, please include the source, i.e. the newspaper with date published.

Please do not hesitate to suggest corrections. Mistakes happen to all of us. Just try to be kind about it and I will correct ASAP.

If my entries are your family/friend, please request transfer using the edit button. I am happy to oblige.

I especially try to find duplicate entries (even my own mistakes) and suggest removal of those duplicates. I believe most duplicates are unintentional.

Rose Hill Cemetery in Berrien Springs MI is my current pet project.

My biggest wish in F.A.G. is that someone will list the graves of my husband's ancestors Joseph and Betsey Jillson. Their probable birthdates would be about 1800 to 1810. They lived in the Albany, NY area and seem to disappear from the 1850 Census since their children are scattered then.

Thank you for photographing his tombstone for me. By any chance did you notice if his second wife, Nettie was buried nearby? She died in 1987.

RE: George Marshall Arlington Hill Cemetery
Would you please contact the cemetery & get plot info from them? Perhaps the George(S) are one and the same, but Lottie may have been an "extra" wife.

See my plot info I obtained from the cemetery. If yours matches "my" George and his Lottie, then we can go from there. If not, you and I will have to put our heads together again! LOL

In any case, please enter the plot info on your records.

Many, many thanks.
