I was born in Quincy, IL in Blessing Hospital in 1965. My family resided in Ewing, MO. and I got my education at Ewing Elementary School, Lewistown Middle School, and Durham Baptist Christian School, all 3 schools are obsolete now. I moved to Florida in April 2004 and married my love. I began genealogy research because when my mother-in-law was a child her mother walked out on the family of 11 children and she never saw her again. I found history and burial for her mother and discovered a half sister. It was an emotional discovery for her and her siblings. I then began researching my father-in-law's family since his parents split when he was young and he never saw his mother again until shortly before her death. I am researching my side of the family now. My toughest brick wall is finding who my 3rd great grandfather was and his wife's maiden name (Elizabeth Benner). My 2nd great grandfather was Joseph Benner and my 3 third-great Uncles were Elias, David, and Christopher Benner
