I am now retired, having served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve; as a Deputy Sheriff; and as the Emergency Operations Officer for the State of Oregon. I am of Scotch/Irish descent; married to my lovely wife Marcia for 54 years, have three children; a son and two daughters, and three grandchildren. Consider myself an amateur genealogist, with heritage from the Mustard, Warwick, Newberry and Bogle lines. Am a Life member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution.
