Hello. I am William Joseph Jones III, born in Washington, DC with early years spent in Roslyn Heights, Long Island, NY, and Somerville, NJ. Presently live in North Carolina. My lineage goes way back to Western Europe, and I have a blood line to numerous royals including Charlemagne, William the Conqueror and his 4th son, Henry I King of England - and other kings and royalty, like many others also have. My 9th Great Grandfather was Stephen Hopkins a passenger on the Mayflower in 1620; I also have other ancestors among many New England families. I am also a descendant of Moses Lufkin(s) 1 and 2, both who served as Soldiers of the American Revolution (Mass) and William Higgins (Ohio), likewise a Soldier of the Revolution, and his son George Higgins who served in Company K, 12th Ohio Volunteers in the Civil War.
