Born in 1943 and raised in Wisconsin to age 18, enlisted in USAF the summer after graduation from Horicon High School in 1961. Earned Bachelors Degree from University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1971 and Commission from Officer Training School in 1972. Retired from USAF in 1982 and returned to academia at University of Wisconsin - Madison. Received MA in Art History in 1986. Founded several businesses and non-profit organizations since then. Currently living in the Missouri Ozarks.
