I was born in St. Louis, Mo. Three of my grandparents are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation German and Irish. They came off the ship and settled in St. Louis, where they raised families, worked, lived, and died. My Paternal Grandfather Lee died when my father was a young man. And we knew nothing about the Lee Family. With research we have learned this is our Colonial America family line and we are descended from actual working North Carolina Tarheels who patented lands and worked in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Alabama. We are part of the John Lee of Nansemond Genetic/Genealogical family.
