I am retired and living near Port Huron, Michigan. I enjoy being an avid cyclist and a photo volunteer for Find A Grave. I have always enjoyed history and especially finding out about the people and places that contributed to make my local area what it is today.

I will consider photo requests around the Port Huron, Michigan area and the thumb of Michigan. I'm finding that there can be many challenges in trying to fulfill a photo request, but I have been able to successfully complete several of them and will continue to work on other requests.

Creating memorials and completing photo requests is not a competition for me as it seems to be for some Find A Grave contributors. I do it because of my interest in history and because I feel it's important to help complete memorials to honor those who went before us. You are welcome to any of my photographs. It would be nice if you acknowledge me as the source of the photo if you choose to post it.

I have been getting a lot of requests for cemeteries in Ontario because of my proximity to the international border. I rarely go to Ontario because crossing the border can be time consuming and quite a hassle. I'm sorry, but I will not be able to honor requests in Ontario.
