Bio

One-half American with deep roots, one-half first generation Filipino-American. Have been interested in genealogy most of my life. I have the time to spend searching. My mother was a Wisner, her ancestry much written about. My Great Grandmother was a Whitney, also an American Pioneer family. My roots are primarily in New York, Michigan and colonial New England. My husband is second generation Slovak with very limited American roots. I've learned through research that one of my Wisner ancestors married very well and through Lt. Thomas Wisner's wife, I can trace my heritage back to Plantagenets, including Eleanor of Aquitaine, her son King John of Magna Carta fame! And to the King of Jerusalem!
