I have always loved cemeteries and often wondered about the people resting there and the lives they've lead. As a genealogy enthusiast, I have been researching my own and others' trees for over 25 years.

I reside in the lower Hudson Valley where several of my colonial ancestral lines also made their home. Going further back of course, these lines stem from England, from which my paternal line also originates. So although mostly English and Scottish, I have Dutch, German and Polish roots.

In my "real life" I am a wife and mom to year a boy who seems to share my affinity for peaceful walks in graveyards - wondering about the all the stories each stone could tell.
