I'm James from Wichita Falls. My great-great grandad, Benjamin Duncan Wingo (Ala) migrated with his father, Rev W.S. Wingo (SC) and mother to Red River County Texas around 1866 to farm, winding up in the Texas panhandle, where my relatives are from. My late aunt Mary (Wingo) Anderson had been researching since I can remember, and now I have the bug.
