I originally compiled my family history in paper form in 1989 --- b4 internet & Ancestry. Many hours were spent talking & writing with relatives, researching @ the Natl Archives & courthouses. Now I'm porting that info to Ancestry as a means of easier --- and up to date --- sharing with family members. For each deceased relative I find, I either ask to manage their memorial or create one when there isn't.
For non relatives that I manage, I attempt to add death certificate info, obituary info, and link all relatives that I can find for that person.
