Bio

I stumbled upon Find A Grave while doing research for the farm property in which I grew up on. It was homesteaded by Richard Wray in 1836 on English Prairie (as it was called back then) in Illinois. He married Jane Archdale and the couple had six children. The Wray family owned the farm for over 100 years.

I have come to love doing genealogy work. It is like treasure hunting but even better.

Some of my memorials are near and dear to my heart. But other memorials, I will gladly transfer that are outside of Find-A-Grave guidelines.

I will not accept edits to attach family of unknown burial locations. This is Find-A-Grave so find the grave! Do the work; keep searching; the answer may be out there.
