I love history, especially as it pertains to my family. As a child I loved to hear my grandmother, mother and aunts talk about family and tell family stories. My husband's mother was also interested in historical research and handed down that interest to him. His family dates back to Jamestown, 1610 and mine to the Mayflower/Plymouth landing, 1620 and the early Dutch settlers in New Amsterdam (New York), 1630. Now that both of us are retired, we have time to search out cemeteries and other family history sites. We would be happy to do that for you as well. We are located in central California, so we can easily reach most California destinations.
